Pitchfork Music Festival London returns for its sixth edition this November - one of its biggest installments yet. Unveiling an exciting first wave of artists for a city-wide celebration of forward-thinking music, the festival is taking place from Monday 2 November - Sunday 8 November 2026.
Following a fifth anniversary edition which welcomed 20,000 people across the week, 2025 featured the likes of Laurie Anderson, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Oklou, Nicolas Jaar & Ali Sethi, Nala Sinephro and many more. Now, the festival is excited to reveal its first names for 2026.
Taking over some of London’s most iconic independent venues, this year’s programme features boundary-pushing and iconic international artists, emerging voices, intimate showcases and one-off collaborations across landmark London venues including: Roundhouse, Royal Festival Hall, KOKO, ICA, Village Underground, Hackney Church, EartH, The Cause and many more.
The first announcement includes a special live headline performance from world-renowned artists and producers The Avalanches & Friends at Roundhouse on Friday 6 November. With a full supporting bill of very special guests across two rooms to be announced, the show will celebrate their rich catalogue and new album - with singles featuring Jamie xx, Nikki Nair and Jessy Lanza already unleashed.
Pianist, composer and vocalist Hania Rani headlines Southbank’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 8 November for her only UK show of 2026. Rani interweaves classical, jazz, and electronic influences into her dazzling musical soundscapes, alongside her now celebrated soundtrack work.
Touted by Rolling Stone as ”one of the best rappers alive” and following her headline set at We Out Here last year, Noname is Saturday’s Roundhouse festival headliner, with a show that will also celebrate 10 year of her Pitchfork-celebrated record Telefone. She will be joined by an unmissable supporting bill of nu-jazz/soul singer Georgia Anne Muldrow, Cleo Reed and rising rapper Kaicrewsade, plus more to be announced.
Also announced for the programme is Brit Award Winner and Mercury Prize nominated Jacob Alon, one of the UK’s most exciting emerging singer-songwriters. Praised for their intimate folk songwriting, poetic lyricism and captivating live performances, Alon will perform a special intimate show at Hackney Empire on Wednesday 4 November, with special guests in support. This date sees a ‘take-over’ of the local area, with cult post-rock band Tortoise also heading up an exciting bill at Hackney Church, completed by Bill Orcutt and Dagmar Zuniga and Oslo hosting MGNA Crrrta and daine.
The festival is elsewhere excited to announce the debut of cult British electronic artist Actress’ new show and record Radical Frame, rising US electronic duo ear take-over South London’s warehouse club The Cause, jazz breakthrough aja monet celebrates her acclaimed new album The Color of Rain, winners of Pitchfork’s 2025 album of the year Los Thuthanaka will play a special event In-The-Round at EartH Hall, Swedish indie-rock heroes The Radio Dept. will play their first UK show in over 10 years and The Knife’s Olof Dreijer will host an ICA event to premiere a live show of his celebrated debut album.
As ever the festival sees The Dalston Takeover return - with 1 x wristband granted access to six venues across East London. This year the bill is topped by Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Mandy, Indiana, Working Men’s Club and many more. The festival continues its focus on new music, with a week long Pitchfork London Selects takeover at the city’s cherished MOTH Club - in honour of the Pitchfork Selects weekly playlist.
A staple of London’s cultural calendar, Pitchfork Music Festival London continues its reputation for genre-spanning programming that bridges cult legends, experimental innovators and the most exciting new artists from around the world.
More artists are still to be announced in the coming weeks to complete the line-up for 2026.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday 12 June 10am BST. More acts and special events will be announced in the coming months.
