Manchester Psych Fest Reveals Over 30 New Acts for 2026
Manchester Psych Fest has today revealed the final wave of acts for its 2026 edition, and with over 30 new names added in one go, it’s a big one. The one-dayer, taking place on Saturday 5th September 2026, features an enormous lineup, so enormous that it has been revealed that the Manchester Apollo will serve as the festival’s main stage, as the event edges towards a sell out.
Headlining this final announcement are the inimitable post-punk project Billy Nomates and returning all the way from Hull and back bdrmm, joining a lineup that already features The Beta Band, Stereolab and Ty Segall. Also newly confirmed are Manchester/Berlin noise-industrial force Mandy, Indiana - who arrive on the back of their widely acclaimed 2026 album Urgh, Austin sun-baked psych quintet Holy Wave, Peter Doherty-backed Birmingham duo Gans and Dublin-formed alt-grunge four-piece Bleech 9:3 to name a few.
Also newly confirmed are the likes of Prewn, Nightbus, Maquina., The Dharma Chain, Spiral Drive, Lowertown and MORN, plus many more.
With this many acts and a record number of tickets sold, MPF organisers have upgraded the main stage to O2 Apollo Manchester to meet the growing demand for Manchester’s premier one-day festival.
With first, second, third and fourth release tickets all sold out, only a very limited number of tickets remain. Fans are strongly urged to secure theirs now before MPF 2026 sells out entirely - this is not one to miss.
Manchester Psych Fest 2026 takes place on Saturday 5th September with live visuals from Innerstrings, food, art, DJs, workshops and yoga, alongside a live programme at O2 Apollo Manchester, Manchester Academy, Albert Hall, O2 Ritz, Outdoor stage at Projekts Skate Park, Gorilla, YES, Deaf Institute & The Bread Shed.
